Hey, I'm back with more family news. We went this past weekend, (June 19-22, 08) to our first annual "Nuthouse" reunion. We went up to Bridger Lake in the Uinta Mountains. It was so beautiful and the weather was nice and the fishing wasn't too bad either. Really the only bad thing there was the Skeeters......lots of skeeters, thank goodness for bug spray!! We went up Thursday evening and got us a couple of spots to camp and then set up the tents and prepared our camp site. We then built us a nice fire and cooked some hot dogs for dinner, I am usually not a huge fan of hot dogs but for some reason they always taste great when your camping and cooked by the fire.
Friday, we got up and made some french toast for breakfast and had some cantaloupe. It was really good and then we all decided to go fishing. It was really fun. Tracy and Tyler brought up there canoe and they took it out on the lake and we went around the lake to fish on the shore. I caught a couple of fish that day. later Alison and I got in the canoe and she caught a fish then. between all of us we caught about 20 fish that day. It was fun. After fishing we went back to camp and prepared some Hobo dinners. They turned out so good. I have some good cooks in my family!! We just kind of took it easy for the rest of the night and sat around the fire and talked. It was nice.
Saturday, I got up about 9:00 and went fishing fir a while. I really wanted to go out by myself so I could learn how to cast better. . . . something I struggle with for some reason, but I can tell you after this weekend, I am better at it. I caught 5 fishies that morning and I was a happy camper!!
Chris came out after just a little bit and he did pretty good too. he caught 4, but I had a little more time out there. It was nice spending time with him. We had fun. We went back and had some lunch and I took a nap...it's tiring fishing. Lol. Later on we cooked some dutch oven chicken and cheesy potatoes, then for dessert we had apple and blueberry cobbler. It was really yummy. That night the kids all fell asleep early and so we all sat and talked for quite a while. It was really funny, towards the end of the night Bryce went and put on his Gila suit and a wolf mask and sneaked behind Chris and scared the ba-gee-bees out of him and Nanette. It was really funny. Sorry Chris and Nanette. Love you!!
Sunday, I got up and fished for a little bit, caught a few and then went back to camp to pack up. It was sad to have to leave. I really had a wonderful time. I got to spend time with my kids, throw rocks and play with my grand kids, it was so beautiful and serene, It was hard to leave.
We took the long way home and saw a few more lakes. We went to Hoop Lake which was really pretty and the area is just awesome. I also got see quite a few animals on my trip. Some Deer, antelope, a moose, an elk, a rabbit, some chipmunks, a squirrel, ans lots of fishies. So I say it was a successful Reunion........Woohoo!!
I really want to thank Tracy, Tyler, Shanna, and Bryce for all the work, effort, and help that they put in to make this reunion so nice. You guys are awesome!! Love you all. . . . . . . . . . Mom

Fun at the Zoo!!
Hey . . . . .
My Family and I took a little trip to the zoo. We had a great time. I was really anxious to go because with the two oldest grand kids gettting to be close to two years old I thought that they would really enjoy seein all of the animals. I am creatures. I do believe that the best part of the trip for them was the play ground area......theyreally not sure if they really did but I think they were wondering what planet they had landed on to see such crazy really did enjoy that. The day at the zoo was really nice, not too hot, not too cold...just right mostly, we did get a few sprinkes towards the end of the day, but nothing really. It was nice because the animals were moving around a lot. The bear cubs were playing. It was fun to see them active. We took a little ride on the train, which was fun, but way too short, all the walking around you do it is nice to sit and rest for a minute. Well, that is a little about our trip to the zoo, I hope you enjoy some f the pictures I took while there.

Me and My Family
HEY YA' ALL,
This here is my baby.....Jason Pahlow. I know what your thinking, he doesn't really look like a baby, more like an adult, but I a sure you, he is my baby!!
Wowsers everyone, is my Family ever growing I started out with 5 Kids and now I still have 5 kids, 2 boys, 3 girls, 1 daughter-in-law, 3 son-in-laws, 5 grandsons, and another baby on the way due around Christmas time!! What an awesome present for a grandma. I just love being a grandma, it's the greatest blessing forever and ever. Anyway I thought that I would give you a glimpse of my beautiful family.....hope you enjoy !!
This is my oldest son Christopher Robert (and Pooh) just kidding!! His wife Nanette and their kids Ethan and Logan.
Chris graduated from Weber state college last year in Supply Chain Management and is working for the government. He enjoys his job. At church he is the Elders Quorum President, and with his family, he keeps very, very busy. He does take time out for his old mother once in a while though, for that I am very grateful.
Nanette has been being a stay at home mom since Logan was born and she is a very good mother and loves her kids so much. She is going back to school in the fall and is hoping to get in the nursing program up at Weber State. She was able to get a scholarship for the coming year and she is so smart, I know she will have no problem she is a sweetheart. I couldn't ask for a better wife for Chris. She is great!!
Ethan is almost 2 years old, he was born on June 27, 2006. He is so cute, I love his big brown eyes and his sweet smile. He is starting to talk pretty good now and says every ones name. It is adorable.
Logan is 7 months old and has the cutest smile ever. He is so wiry and is constantly moving all over the place. He rolls on his side so he can play with his toys. I have no doubt it will be any day when he starts crawling. I love them so much!!
This is my oldest daughter Tracy Nicole. I think she is beautiful!! She was such a pretty baby. Tyler is her husband and they have a son named Breckston.
Tracy also graduated from college last year in Integrated Studies, I don't know, don't ask me what that means, but all I know is I am very proud of her. She is taking about
working on her masters soon so that is great. She has been working at a Jr High School as an assistant to the principal. She is off for the summer, and taking a well deserved break with Breckston.
Tyler is working in a maintenance job at a place where they make vitamins. He is also going to school and even is hard at work with it during the summer. He only has about a year left and he should hopefully have his Business degree by the end of next spring semester, if he is able to get the classes he needs. I will be glad when he is finished so they can have a little more time together as a family. It is really important to him.
Beckston is my little doll. I have been babysitting him since he was 3 weeks old, when Tracy had to go back to work. He is so fun!! I have never seen a baby giggle like he does, and for so long it is such a crack up, you can't help but laugh. He is sitting up and trying to stand up at every chance he can. He loves it when grandma gives him horsey rides. I love them so much!!
This is my middle daughter Alison Mary and her hubby Nate. She is a true middle child.....how lucky can one kid get. But she handles it very well and she is such good and caring person, I love that about her!!
Alison received her degree last year as well, and her degree was also in business management. She has job with the government and is doing great. She is going to work on her masters starting in the fall. She not only has beauty, but has the brains to go with it. I am very proud of her.
Nate has been working as a guard at a county jail and seems to enjoy it, but is always looking to improve himself. He has a great heart and is always willing to help when he can. He and Alison make sure Grandma and Grandpas lawn gets mowed every week. I know that my dad really appreciates the help. He goes and helps his parents as well and I think that says a lot about him.
Well, the greatest news about them are they are expecting their first child, sometime around Christmas!! Yeah........another little one to bless our home!! I am so happy for them. we are not sure what they are having yet but maybe they will know in on her next doctors appointment coming up in the middle of the month. I will keep you posted. I love you all too!!
This is my baby girl..... Shanna Dawn!! She is
married to Bryce and they have 2 kids, Blaine and Austin. What a beautiful little family they have!!
Shanna works part time at the junior high school and takes care of her little ones. I think she really loves being a mommy and is so cute with them. She has such a soft heart when it comes to her babies, it is really sweet to watch her. She has been going to school but has had to take time out to have her kids, but hopes to start going back soon. I think it would be good for her.
Bryce works at a Pepsi plant and works very hard for them. He, however wants to be a
policeman and just placed 8th in his rankings to join the Ogden City Police Force. I am so excited for him, because it is something he has really wanted to do for a long time. They will put him through the Academy.......so good luck, Bryce, we're all pulling for you!! He is also a kind person and spends time hanging out with Jason, I really appreciate that, it means a lot to me that he cares about him.
Blaine, Blaine, Blaine!! What a hoot he is. He has so much personality and charm. He makes me laugh so much. He also has a such a little tender heart that makes him so sweet. Blaine loves to cook. Every time he comes over he cooks. He pulls out all of the pans and the big spoons and Utensils and I give him crackers or something and he cooks!! He tells me not to touch it too, cause it's HOT, hot, hot. He will be 2 on July 27th.
Austin is the youngest of the grand kids right now. He is almost 3 months old, and he just gets cuter and cuter every day!! He has the cutest little smile and he's got beautiful eyes. He seems to be a little colicky, which makes him cry sometimes.....and that breaks my heart. But it doesn't to last too long and then he is as happy as ever. I like to cuddle him. I love you all!!
This here is my baby.....Jason Pahlow. I know what your thinking, he doesn't really look like a baby, more like an adult, but I a sure you, he is my baby!!
Jason has such a sweet soul. He would do anything for anyone if it was his idea. He loves to go the movies. He loves wrestling, the WWE, especially Raw. By the way we are going to attend the WWE Raw Live Event, in about a week. He is very excited and to be honest, I am looking forward to it as well. There is something about those wrestlers bods.
Oops, back to Jason.
He is working at the junior high, doing janitor work. I think he likes it most of the time, he likes the social part of the job for sure, the work I am not so sure, but he is hanging in there and doing a great job!!
He also has been going to school at a place that helps him be self sufficient and he does a great job and is doing well. He is a smart kid and tries very hard. He is also so funny some times. He is also very observant both of people and of things around him. He is a pretty amazing kid and I love him to death.
Well, there you have it, a little synopsis of my wonderful family. I hope you have enjoyed this post. My family is the most important thing to me in my life. I love all of them with all my heart and soul. I thank the Lord every day for blessing me with so much. Have a GREAT day and visit me again!!
